Libby - February 2007 to July 2009

Libby started at St. Marks Nursery in Bourne End aged 2.

It was a very difficult time for me.   I was pregnant with (Charlie), Libby needed nursery as she was a very demanding little girl.

In the early days Libby and I got very upset.   (Endless support, tea and chats for me), and cuddles for Libby.

Libby did and still does suffer very badly with anxiety, she can make herself sick at the drop of a hat.   Frances, Sarah and Linda were and still are very supportive, they didn't blame Libby but took control of the situation, which helped me no end.

The nursery team helped me with every part of Libbys developments (toilet training, eating habits and behaviour, going into a big bed)

Libbys time at nursery, turned her into a very loveing, caring, helpful little girl, she is very happy at nursery.  For this reason we decided to travel to Marlow when the nursery relocated.   (p.s. this family live in Flackwell Heath).

It took Libby awhile to readjust, but with their care and support she soon settled down.

The children are always happy, enjoy the varied trips to the park, feding the ducks, library visits, nature walks etc.

Libby and I have made very good friends and support from mothers and teachers alike.

Frances is going beyond duty and give Libby and I support and preparation for infants.  (More tea and chat, tissues and tears).

I know Libby will miss her time at nursery and both dreading the last few days.

I know Frances and Sarah and Linda will continue with all their help and support for Libby and ME.     I consider the whole team friends.

Thank you everyone for all the tissues and tea and advice you have given me over the last two years.

I'm just glad (Charlie) has now started so I can keep coming!!!!!

We've ended as we started in tears.

Thank-you   Thank-you   Thank-you.
                                             Leonie

p.s. You will never see happier well adjusted children or more careing staff.

Archie   April 2009 - July 2009

Wow!!  Archie has shown an incredible change to his behaviour and learning abilities.   He has now become a keen learner in puzzles and reading.   I, myself am a teaching assistant studing for a degree in teaching, but he just won't listen to me!
The team at Marlow Bridge have somehow managed to get him interested in reading.   (which he now does without any support or conflict)   He loves to do puzzles and always enjoys learning.
"Thank You"

There is always so much activities for the children and I admire the "old skool" supervision from Frances, she's great and gives each child that special independance they need like putting thier shoes on.   Archie wouldn't dream of me getting him dressed now.   Such a big help in the morning.

Lastly the nursery is wonderful and thank you Sarah for being so wonderful and Linda and most of all Frances.

What a wonderful place for my son to start his pre-school years.

James    September 2008 - July 2009

James has had a very good time at the Marlow Bridge Nursery.  He has developed a lot since starting last September.  He always looks forward to going and is very happy to go off and play in the morning.

I am very impressed with all the different activities and "toy corners" set up by the staff.   It looks really lovely good fun.  (smiley face)   The dicipline and morals within the nursery has also been much appreciated.  As a result James has felt very safe and happy.   It has been a real home from home.   Frances and Sarah are very understanding and approachable if there are family or home scenarios that needs to be taken into consideration.   They have often given me advice if I have had issues with James.   Being a single parent, I have personally appreciated this.  James wiil, I am sure be missing his nursery and his very special friend Andrew.

thank you for taking good care of James this year!  He will have lots of memories - and will leave with a good start to joing school.

We wish you all the best for the future running of the nursery, the staff and the new fids joining over time.

Heidi, James and Ingrid   XXXX    (3 smiley faces)

PS!  Many thanks for Sarahs great ideas to lunchboxes (smiley face) Linda's smile and "good morning James" and Frances disciplinarian approach to getting little boys to behave.  (smiley face)
Here are some testimonials from past and present parents.  These and more can be viewed at the nursery.   (The wording has been copied verbatim from the leavers book)
